Movin' Shoes Running Club Scholarship

Scholarship Information

• For 2026, the Movin’ Shoes Running Club Scholarship is a $500 non-renewable award (5 scholarships available)

• Applicant must have applied and been accepted at a college, university, or vocational school of his or her choice

• Receiving the award does not preclude the applicant from applying for and accepting other scholarships, loans, grants, or other aid

• Applicant need not participate in college athletics

• A committee consisting of four Movin’ Shoes Running Club members will screen the applications.

• Awards will be publicly announced in May 2026.

• The online application link may be obtained from your high school track or cross country coach as well as on the Movin’ Shoes Running Club website.

Eligibility

•  Must be a graduating senior from a Dane County high school

•  Must be a student in good standing

•  Must have been accepted at a college, university or vocational school

Requirements

•  Completed application form which includes an essay and requires the following attachments:

•  High school transcript through seven semesters

•  A track or cross-country coach, athletic director, teacher or principal’s letter of recommendation
