Subzero Race Series

Never afraid of the cold? Come join us for the Subzero Race Series (SRS), a four-race series designed to help the Madison running community get through winter. Registration opens on October 1st at 6:00 am.

These races are low-key, low-cost events that will be held out of the Come Back In. Day of registration will begin inside at 2:15 PM, and then we’ll head across the street for a 3:00 PM start on the Capital City Bike Path. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy warmth and happy hour prices at the Come Back In as we raffle off prizes and catch up with our fellow runners. Because of the location, these events are age 21+.

Awards: M, F, and Non-Binary. M/F age groups 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. NB will be an Open division.

Proceeds from the series will benefit the Movin’ Shoes Running Club.

Race Dates

#1 - January 6th: Subzero 5k

#2 - January 20th: Subzero 4 miler

#3 - February 3rd: Subzero 5 miler

#4 - February 17th: Subzero 1 mile
